The Museum of Prehistoric Thera will host the opening of the exhibition entitled “Thera frescoes, the treasure of the Prehistoric Aegean” on the evening of Monday, August 2, at 20:00,

in the presence of the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the Minister of Culture Mrs Lina Mendoni, the Mayor of Thira Mr. Antonis Sigalas, and other guests.

Monday’s program also includes an autopsy in the settlement of Thirasia and the archeological excavation, an autopsy on the work performed at the Archaeological Museum of Thira, as well as a visit to the exhibition space of the Museum of Prehistoric Thera.

In the evening of the same day, the Prime Minister and the mission will be given dinner by the Municipality of Thira.
