With a total increase of 2.74% in international flights arrivals in July marked the end of the main airports of the country, according to data elaborated by the Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises (SETE) from Athens International Airport and the Hellenic Civil Aviation Authority.

The arrival rates vary by region: last month the highest increase in arrivals has Santorini (12.34%), followed by Rhodes (11.81%), Kos (11.41%) and Cephalonia (6, 33%). Increase of 5.96% recorded in Corfu.

As for the first seven months of 2010 (January-July), in Kos, Rhodes, Santorini and Kefalonia the international flights arrivals increased (10.46%, 7.61%, 3.29% and 2.31% respectively), but decreased in Athens (-5.18%), Samos (4.67%), Thessaloniki (-4.34%), Zakynthos (-4.23%) Skiathos (1.94%), Heraklion (- 1.93%), the Aktion (-1.61%), Chania (-1.55%) and Corfu (-1.35%).
