"Mirsini" is the ancient greek word for the plant "myrtle". According to the myth, when goddess Venus emerged out of the sea, she covered her naked body behind a myrtle bush. Thus, myrtle became a symbol of purity, protection, love, beauty and later used as incense in the temple of the same goddess.
Mirsini Pansion is named after our home village "Mirsini" in Crete.It was built in 2000 and renovated in 2011 is runned as a family business all these years. Outside the Pansion you will find free parking space for your car or bike/atv. The whole complex is covered with a WiFi internet connection for your laptop / notebook/ ipad.

Our pansion is located in Karterados village, just 1,5 klm from Fira, the capital of the island (5 min drive, 20 min on foot), right in the center of the island (check out "Our Position"). The nearest beach, Monolithos, is only 2,5 klm away. We are looking forward to seeing you, hoping to offer friendly services and make your holidays worth remembering with a smile.
